Come To Our Very Own Jake Brushafer’s Dreamforce Session!

October 30th, 2017 • 3 min read

In case you haven’t heard enough about Dreamforce from us (does it seem like we’re just a little excited or something?), we wanted to let you know about a cool opportunity bright and early the first day of Dreamforce.

Besides the fact that we’ll be giving away our custom Penrod popsockets to everyone we meet (find one of our people to get your own!), our very own Jake Brushafer is teaching a Breakout Session. Here are the deets:

When: Monday, November 6, 8:00 AM - 8:40 AM
Where: Moscone West, 2002
What: Code to Clicks

Jake is a Technical Architect here and he’s been in the Salesforce ecosystem for five plus years, so he knows a thing or two.

The session is geared for Salesforce admin and Salesforce developers. Too often, there’s a gap between these two roles when they should be able to work hand-in-hand together. The goal is to facilitate conversations between these two groups and show them they can both do what they love.

The Salesforce platform gives both of them exactly what they need to do just that. Developers on the one hand, have the ability to build out custom functionality and create cool stuff by writing code. Admin, on the other hand, have these great native point and click tools that Salesforce provides so they can use the standard functionality to its full potential.

So how do you know when writing code is the best option? Or when is it better for Admin to use the point and click tools at their disposal instead of adding their project to the developer’s backlog? Obviously we’re not going to share all of Jake’s know-how here because we want you to come to the session! If you want the answers, join him on November 6 at 8am (bring coffee!) in Moscone West, 2002.
