Penrod’s Certification Rockstars, January 2018

February 6th, 2018 • 5 min read

Last month, our rockstars here at Penrod compiled over a dozen new certifications with Salesforce and Conga. Great work team! We stressed the importance of certifications in a recent blog post, and in this past month our teammates delivered. We’re so proud of everyone’s effort involved in their training in the products that we consult on on a daily basis!

We always strive for knowledge, and we support our team’s constant growth by offering as many resources as possible to their continued success as consultants. It’s a part of our culture, and we cheer each other on with each additional success, and encourage those who fall short in their certification endeavors, because one day they too will succeed as so many of us have!

With the certifications earned last month, we are proud to have a total of 192 Salesforce Certifications within our company. Being industry experts is a key part of our success as Salesforce consultants, and we think that number speaks for itself when it comes to that claim.

Join us in commending our Penrodians and Salesforce Trailblazers on their accomplishments this past month! Check back in March as we celebrate our team’s ongoing growth with each new certification and highlight specific certs that our consultants have acquired.

Certification Highlight: Community Cloud Consultant

One certification in particular that we would like to highlight this month is the Community Cloud Consultant Certification that Ryan Wummel, Salesforce Lead, tackled. A relatively new certification, this certification covers: the setup of Salesforce communities (including template communities), the Community Builder tool, security and sharing (including authentication) in communities, and more.

The real power of Community Cloud lies in how it can be used to extend the functionality of platforms like Sales Cloud and Service Cloud for partners and customers by allowing organizations to collaborate with their channel partners during the sales process, or to allow end-user customers to browse knowledgebase articles and submit support tickets through a customized portal.

Here at Penrod, we really enjoy working on Community Cloud projects because of the flexibility and extensibility of the platform, and for that reason we really love to see our consultants snag this cert.
