Here at Penrod, Seth works tirelessly to own technical solutions for Penrod’s implementations.
“My job comes with a good bit of variety. I’m typically working on several projects at once. For projects that are in the discovery phase, I’m attending client meetings and conceptualizing technical solutions to
client problems. For projects in the design phase of implementations, I’m often working in Jira and delegating tasks to developers. Oftentimes I assist in building integrations that involve middleware platforms,” he says.
On a weekly basis, he juggles multiple projects at once, and naturally says that task prioritization is key to being successful as an Architect. Though challenging, he does it gracefully as he takes it day-by-day.
“On a daily basis I’m making sure that the developers working on my tasks have what they need. I often assist in building integration and am relatively hands-on-keyboard some days. I’m usually involved in design/discovery meetings and/or project stand-ups, depending on where my projects are in the implementation cycle,” he says.
Seth enjoys learning the inner workings of a variety of different clients’ businesses, and good thing! He stays busy doing just that. Beyond client work, he also enjoys the people he works with and the collaborative nature of the Penrod team. We asked what else he enjoys about the job:
“The work-life balance; being able to unplug in the evenings and recharge,” he says.
Speaking of: outside of work, Seth loves traveling, being outdoors, and finding the best sushi spots wherever he goes.
We’re lucky to have you, Seth! Thanks for all you do!
