For the past few years for Christmas, my family (immediate and extended), hasn’t exchanged gifts. Instead, we just enjoy each other’s company for the day. Many were first bummed about the decision, but we’ve learned that the memories of quality time together far outweigh the tangibles.
My positivity. In almost any scenario, I can see or acknowledge the positives and focus on those. Sure, I have my negative moments here and there, but the only thing that navigates me away from those is my positivity.
I’m a bronze level ballroom dancer.
I was sold on the culture and vibe from the interview that I had. It felt like it would be a great fit for what I was looking for.
The organization is world class. Process is very clear and knit together from Sales through Delivery, complete with CSAT reporting and all the other management tools. Makes my OCD nerd very happy!
I am a citizen of 3 countries. Canada (born), Switzerland (from birth), United States.
Ice cream, Thai spiced cashews (yum!), and apples with home made peanut butter & sharp cheddar.
Spending time with close friends and my puppy. Patio beer or glass of wine. Walks in the forest. Creative projects… let’s build together!!
Talent Acquisition Specialist
I wanted to work for a company where I felt valued and like I was really part of a family. Penrod was the obvious choice for this.
The dogs in the office, obviously. But also – I like how much freedom I’m given to make this role what I want it to be.
Making homemade cookies with my grandma for Christmas – we spend HOURS frosting them because she makes so many.
Balzac – I love the ambiance in there and the brussel sprouts are crazy good!
Alicante, Spain. I studied abroad here for a summer and would move here in a heartbeat if I could convince my family to come with me.
When exploring new places to work, I wanted to align my next organization with my personal values. As a “why” person, my motivation and drive, as an employee, comes from the vision and values of the organization in which I work. After researching & interviewing with Penrod, I realized that this organization, the employees, and vision they have fall directly in line with where I see myself making the greatest impact.
I love riding motorcycles and am in an all-female MC called “The Litas”
Every year at Thanksgiving, my family will run a Turkey Trot race, then after get ready for late lunch and after will walk the beach either smoking a celebratory cigar or drink of choice. It’s so simple but always one of my favorites.
My innate desire to be authentically myself.

To learn and expand my Salesforce knowledge by helping clients.
A little taco place called Chilango. They have the most amazing street tacos.
Baking cut-out cookies. I am notoriously bad at it and the cut-out shapes usually just become a blob! Still tasty, though!
Spending time with my family, shopping at Target and Costco, and taking naps
Director of Business Development, HLS
Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant
I have the freedom to take action and be creative. From a sales perspective, a set process doesn’t always work. I can test new ideas and tactics and respond to the wants and needs of our customers.
Put yourself in uncomfortable situations where you are forced to learn something. Find something new to learn each week, month, or year and broaden your skill set.
It’s like a cult. We are all passionate about the work we do and are really close as a company.
I love to smile. I think it’s infectious.
I wanted to take my 10+ years of HLS experience and combine it with a leader in the Salesforce ecosystem. This is a great mutual fit – I identify with Penrod’s values, mission, and culture.
To bring real solutions to customers that are struggling with problems they have been unable to solve for years.
There’s a place in the Lower Highlands part of Denver called Señor Bear. Everything there is delicious, including their drinks, and they have an unbelievable happy hour.
Friendsgiving – Getting together with a group of our closest friends the day before or after Thanksgiving to celebrate our relationships and the things we’re thankful for.
Barcelona – When my wife and I visited, it felt like home.

I would advise them to grow their skill set and find their place at Penrod.

At the moment, a little place at the tip top of Manhattan called Inwood Farms. It’s tucked right alongside beautiful Inwood Park (home to Manhattan’s last virgin forest!), is super kid and dog friendly, and is around the corner from my house.
Hosting friends and family in NYC to experience the city during Christmas – the Rockefeller tree, Radio City Music Hall, the shops along 5th ave. – it’s quite the experience, and I love to be a tour guide during this beautiful period in the city.
Vulnerability – what you see is what you get! I was told to bring my authentic self to Penrod and I look forward to doing just that!
Reputation in the Salesforce ecosystem is top notch. I’ve had the opportunity to work with a number of recruiters as a practice lead at several Salesforce consulting firms, and as a result, get inside knowledge on consultant satisfaction and reputation – Penrod scored high and both, which definitely influenced my decision to join.
Costa Rica – it’s a place my wife and I keep going back to! Last Thanksgiving, we brought our son (6 months old at the time) and met some of our Colorado friends and California Family there to spend a couple of weeks in the jungle.

I am most excited to get to know the team members and work together to continue to grow Penrod and help us excel at delivering great solutions to our clients.
I own a small farm, so when I’m done with work for the day, I like to shut off all my technology and go play in the dirt.
A martini bar in Boise called Twigs. They have the best drinks and gluten free food!
Any mountain in the middle of nowhere. Escaping to untouched back country is good for my soul.
I once read a quote (attributed to Ralph Waldo Emerson, but who knows with the internet)— but it read “Be silly, be honest, be kind”— and that’s how I try to live my life. I try to bring humor to every day, be clear and honest with my intentions, and generally frame things in the best possible light.
I hang out with my kids— I have a 10 year old and a 1 year old, so they keep me on my toes!
There’s a little spot in St. Paul, where we live, called Stewart’s. They have a small menu, but everything is absolutely delicious, and their cocktails are the best. They used to make one called a Bourbon Coffee Buzz that I still dream about.
Everyone genuinely wants me to succeed. They’re excited about what we’re doing together, and ready and willing to talk through an idea or answer a question when they come up. And I’ve learned more than I expected about them as people, too, already- pets, families, personality quirks- what you see is what you get at Penrod.
I’ve had a number of interesting jobs in my life— costumed character, candy store attendant (which included all the free candy one could eat), secret shopper, financial aid counselor, camp counselor.

The people who work at Penrod are definitely the best part. The talent of the people I get to work with every day has made me the leader I am today.
Teamwork is everything at Penrod. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, everyone you are working with was a new hire at one time also. Don’t be afraid to bring in new ideas either, we are constantly challenging ourselves to be better and punch above our weight classes.
We have built a culture that allows individuals to work autonomously, but also thriving on the importance of teamwork and mentorship. The team understands both the importance of working hard to achieve the highest quality for our partners and the importance of having fun while they do it. It’s like nothing else I have been apart of before.
For an after dinner drink I really enjoy ‘Club Charlies’ in the Third Ward. When traveling my favorites are ‘Little Woodrows’ in Austin and ‘Lir’ in Boston.
Platform Developer 1
I truly recognize myself in Penrod’s core values. Plus, we spend the most part of our day at work. So why not having an awesome one, collaborating with super nice people all day long in a dynamic environment and culture? This is why I chose Penrod.
I grew up in a French Vineyard and my first job ever was to prune vines and harvest grapes. I loved it so much! Oh, and I’m also the second baby born in France in year 1991.
I can literally eat Italian Grissini all day long. And I’d eat some more at night if I could.
Tulum, Mexico because this is where I proposed, but also for the culture, the nature, the people and mostly for THE FOOD!
I love learning new useful stuff. For example, I learned how to work wood to build my own furniture, mechanic to fix my cars, electricity and plumbery to improve my home, electronic to build my own gadgets. It’s a lot of fun!

I was born in Germany while my Dad was serving in the Army. He is now a retired Colonel in San Antonio, and convinced my whole family to relocate to Texas from all over the US. Now we have fun family times, swimming, eating bbq, and going to Texas Longhorn and Dallas Cowboys football games.

Ernest King – he was the mastermind behind the United States’ naval and marine forces strategy in the Pacific theater of World War Two, and everything I’ve read about him makes him out to be an asshole genius. I think he would have been awesome to hang out with.
I’m spoiled in that my grandparents live in Hawaii, and I spent a couple summers with them when I was younger. As an adult I usually go there for a week or two in early spring. It’s my favorite experience because it’s paradise, and I do maintain some level of consistency with each trip (always visiting Pearl Harbor, Haleiwa, the Pali Lookout) as well as checking out new things, and most importantly, ample time on the beach and in the ocean.
Now that it’s nearly summer, my favorite place to grab a drink is Las Fuentes in Lincoln Park – pitchers of margaritas with a big group on their huge patio for hours.

My spirit animal is JP from the movie Grandma’s Boy. I’m thinking about getting metal legs. It’s a risky operation, but it’ll be worth it.
I was homeschooled growing up. One interest I pursued in my studies was making computer games in Visual Basic. I once made a foosball game and thought it was the future of gaming (it wasn’t). But I did learn a lot about writing code that stuck with me.

The culture, driven by the core values of Accountability, Teamwork, Flexibility, Grit, and Growth, really attracted me. This is not a place where you can coast along and get by; this is a place for people who want to be challenged and grow, while being supported by a great team. Everyone I interviewed with was their authentic self and honest about their experience at Penrod; I never felt like anyone was putting up a front. The company’s commitment to continuous improvement of their processes and investment in their employees was also a big factor.
All the support I’ve gotten to help me get up to speed and comfortable here. The camaraderie everyone shares and the fun that people have working here.

I spent the first three years out of college working as an indoor skydiving instructor, teaching customers, training instructors, and helping to manage the site. The most interesting part was my participation in rolling out the wind tunnel experience aboard cruise ships. I traveled throughout the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, Western Europe, and Asia training the cruise staff and making sure the installation was enjoyable as well as safe. I was able to see a lot of really interesting things I never would have been able to otherwise.
I was really proud of myself recently wrapping up a project for a new hobby of mine. I, without any plan or expertise, bought a Honda Motorcycle from 1980 and recently got it up and running again. Six months ago I had never worked on anything with an engine, let alone tried to get one running that was almost 40 years old. I was really satisfied that I did not let a lack of experience intimidate me and just how far some enthusiasm can take you.

It’s hard for me to pick only one thing I like most about working at Penrod, so I’ll give you two. First, the people – everyone is driven and passionate about their job, it really creates a sense of community. Second, the work – I have learned so much at Penrod and have had the opportunity to grow my skill sets as an employee which makes me excited to come to work every day.

Easy – the people and the culture. My personal mantra is to take your work seriously but never take yourself too seriously, and Penrod embodies that 100%. Everyone here is incredibly smart and hardworking, but they’re equally hilarious and down to earth. Call it midwestern charm perhaps, but Penrod’s got it.
I’m almost completely deaf in my right ear thanks to a childhood accident, which means I listen to music very loudly and can often be heard saying “sorry, what was that?” in conversations.
I can always be seen double fisting water and cold brew, because hydration and caffeination are of equal importance.
I live in Indianapolis, but two tried and true spots if you ever find yourself in my neck of the woods include Northside Social and Bluebeard. And then do yourself a favor and get a cocktail at Hotel Tango (spoiler alert: it’s across the street from Bluebeard).
I had the opportunity to travel to Cape Town, South Africa in 2015, and it was truly majestic. If it’s not already on your bucket list… it deserves to be.
Everyone I’ve met so far, from the very beginning of the interview process on through today, has been a complete delight. The people here are friendly, funny, interesting and intelligent to a point where it would be intimidating if not for those first 3 qualities.
This changes frequently, but at the moment I live near a lovely little townie bar known as the Fairport Village Inn. The space itself is cozy and down to earth without descending into the stickiness of a dive bar. The first time I ate there, I was expecting standard pub grub – the menu certainly features a lot of burgers & sandwiches – but the actual quality of the food is really impressive. Instead of a pile of iceberg lettuce and shredded carrot like many side salads, their dinner salad is full of vegetables & topped with crispy noodles. Everything they offer is simple- baked fish, pasta, chicken wings- and yet the flavor is always rich, the quality is always consistent, and the service is always friendly. I haven’t had a bad meal there yet!
My grandmother loved to cook & bake, and everyone’s favorite holiday treat was her creme de menthe brownies. It’s a grasshopper-style layered confection consisting of 1 layer of brownie, a layer of buttercream frosting flavored with creme de menthe, and a top layer of dark chocolate ganache. It takes at least 4 hours to make because each layer has to cool and set in the refrigerator before the next one can be safely added without the whole thing melting. I don’t bake often, but at Christmas and Thanksgiving I love setting aside a day to whip these up and share with family & friends.
I really like spiders. A lot. When I see a spider I always try and get a closer look, and I will attempt to recruit nearby people into being as excited about the spider as I am (literally never happens). I love most bugs in general, and I probably know the most facts about honeybees, but spiders are my absolute favorite.

People. Being surrounded by the perfect blend of talent and personality makes diving into new challenges a blast, and offers a lot of room for personal development because there’s so much to learn from those around me.
Build relationships with as many people as you can early on. Penrod is all about teamwork, and having trust and rapport with everyone will make asking for help, and working together much easier.
Penrod’s culture is built around helping each other and having fun. Everyone works incredibly hard and the culture rewards that hard work.
I’ve been told by the Penrod office that I am a Hawk. I quietly circle around, observing everything, and then swoop in to either take action or deliver value when necessary.
I was always drawn to the energy of Penrod. I’ve seriously never witnessed so many smiling employees before and always wanted to be a part it. Dreams do come true.

I am going to get greedy and say that I would like to meet Michael Jordan and Kip Moore and golf 18 holes with them. Michael Jordan because he was my childhood idol and Kip Moore because I think it would be fun to hear about what drove him to write some of his songs. His lyrics are very relatable to me so it would be interesting to hear his stories.
I forgot your name…can I call you mine? I’ve never thought to use it which is probably a good thing.
