The Salesforce.com 1-1-1 model is an integrated philanthropic approach that focuses on giving back by pledging 1% of technology, people and resources to non-profits in your community. Penrod greatly supports this model and was thrilled to participate this June when the Midwest Salesforce.com team spent the day volunteering for Habitat for Humanity on Chicago’s South Side.
We were pleased to be asked to join the efforts of the volunteers, and gladly took on the sponsorship of their round-trip transportation. Everyone in attendance worked tirelessly through the day leading to a much deserved celebratory happy hour also provided by Penrod. With the efforts of the Midwest Salesforce.com team and Habitat for Humanity much was accomplished for Chicago’s South Side community. All in all, we’d say it was a great success!
